BREAKING NEWS!!! Ticket sales are now open!!! This year, we are doing $50 for presale tickets until September 19th, then the price will go up to $60 for the banquet. We will not be inducting any Hall of Fame members this year due to a lack of responses, however we have included a nomination field in the ticket link so please get those names in so we have a proper field of Humboldt Legends to induct in future years. Alumni Weekend will happen the 25th and 26th of September this year, with golf and disc golf starting the festivities on the 25th at Beau Pre at 11 am and the games and banquet on the 26th with a bunch of fun and reminiscing in the interim.
Games will be held at the Arcata Sports Complex Soccer Fields (same as last year) and will start with the Women's v Alumni at 11 am followed by Men's Alumni v Mendo/Bald Eagles mix side with the College Men v Sacramento State to finish out the day, starting at 2. We will be having a beer booth again, so please no outside alcohol.
This year, we are debuting the Kim and Gary Griddle Experience for some food at the field. Kim Watson and Gary Stipek have graciously been voluntold that they are in charge of cooking up hot dogs and burgers at the field for you hungry fans and players. Five bucks gets you a dog, a burger, a beer, a wine or a seltzer. What a deal! We will have plenty of swag for sale, and are also going to have a choose-your-own logo station for t-shirts run by our very own Ed Sonia. This will give you the opportunity to make a custom fit to represent the club we all love!
Banquet will held at the D Street Lounge this year. A larger venue with a little more breathing and socializing room than last year that is very walkable to downtown for the afters. Food will be provided by Blackberry Bramble BBQ and we should have a good spread this year.
Please get your ticket purchases in soon so we can have a good idea on the participation for the event. It really helps out with purchasing food, booze and setting up the venue.
