PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
Below is a list of the requirements for each player and member of Humboldt Old Growth, RFC. Please get each of these taken care of as soon as possible. For a description of each, click the link or scroll further down the page:- CIPP Registration with USA Rugby ($55)

2006 CIPP Registration with USA Rugby

All players must be registered with USA Rugby PRIOR to playing in any match leading to a National Championship (i.e.: league & playoff matches).
CIPP registration has changed from the 2006 season. It is now ONLY available online and has increased to $55 (from $50 in 2006). Each player is responsible for their own registration via USA Rugby's website (usarugby.org).
If you do not have internet access or a credit card, give Jon $55 (and a 20 oz. PBR) and he will do it for you. If you have any questions, contact Jon by email or phone (822-5312).

2007 Club Dues

Our annual club dues are $125 and payable prior to our first match on 1/6/07. If you're currently experiencing technical, as well as financial, difficulties please contact Jon to work out some "arrangements" – wink, wink! I hope you're not modest...
If you pay your dues online, we get charged about 3% (approx. $4.00 for $125). If you're feeling generous and somewhat Karmic, go ahead and add a couple bucks to your dues. Your future self will thank you...
And for those that are wondering what dues your pay for, I've uploaded an itemized description of our revenue and expenses. Note that if everyone pays their dues, we will be approximately $544.20 in the black, which is coincidently the same amount as our projected t-shirt sales ($528). To spell it out even more clearly, in order to MAKE MONEY this season, EVERYONE NEEDS TO PAY DUES and we need to SELL ALL T-SHIRTS.
Humboldt has a long tradition of hosting our visiting teams generously with great food and plenty of beer. Unfortunately, until we get a very generous donor, this is a cost we will have to bear.
Everyone who is a member of this team, regardless of whether you played in the match is required to pay the Party Pimp (aka Mark Johnson) $20 each home match to cover the cost of beer, wings, main course (usually shephards pie), salad, dressing, plates/utensils and tip for the pub staff. This covers the cost of one opponent as well as for yourself. Where else can you and another person get a full belly and a great buzz for $20! What a bargain!
NOTE: The Party Pimp fronts this money from his own pocket before each social, so if you don't pay your share, you're shorting one of your teammates! And remember, he knows where your girlfriend lives. And if you don't have one of those, he'll pay your mom a coital visit ...
Shorts/Socks

To go along with our new jerseys, we have also ordered matching shorts and socks. The team will purchase the shorts/socks and sell them to each player at cost ($25).
The order has been placed, the elves are at work, and hopefully they will arrive before Saturday's match (01/01/07). I will will bring everything to the pitch on Saturday so have your MONEY IN HAND.
Beginning with the 2006 season, all teams in the Northern California RFU are required to have a binder with each player's league ID card. If you have not already done so, please send a mug shot to Jon, along with your birth date so that we may become compliant.
