About the HSU Women's RFC

HSU Women's Rugby competes in Women's Collegiate Division II, in the Northern California Rugby Football Union (NCRFU).

The team travels throughout Northern California and Nevada to compete in league matches (during the Spring) and throughout the entire west coast for preseason matches and tournaments (Fall).

The 2011 team finished 2nd place in the NCRFU, behind Santa Clara University, and 4th place in the Pacific Coast RFU, behind Western Washington Univ, Washington State Univ, and Santa Clara Univ.

In the (hopefully) near future, we will add additional content to this section about where we've been, where we are, and the future goals of the club.

It will take some time to reach into the depths of the somewhat pickled minds of those past players who hold the collective institutional memory. And since they all have differing views on the history of this fine club, there may be several versions posted.
